Make and attach beautiful ruffles in one simple step. This is a time saving foot, gathering one layer of fabric while attaching to another – frills in half the time! The ratio of gathered fabric is determined by the differential feed setting. You can use this foot to gather in the centre of your fabric stip using coverstitch or chain stitch to create ruffles. Please note that gathering works best with fine fabrics – the heavier the fabric the less the gather.
